We offer a range of classes to suit children aged 3 upwards. If you aren’t sure what style your child would prefer, come along for a free trial to see if they like it! We offer various discounts for siblings and if your child takes multiple classes, including an ISTD Discount for pupils who take Ballet, Tap and Modern and a Theatre Discount for those who take Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre.
We also offer Adult Ballet, Tap and Street classes for beginners and improvers – a great way to keep fit, have fun and learn something new!
Our pupils follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus in Ballet, Tap and Modern.
Baby Ballet, Tap & Modern
For ages 3-4, Baby Ballet, Tap and Modern offers an introduction to dance suitable for young children, teaching the beginnings of technique, rhythm and musicality in a fun and engaging way using stories, games and lots of imagination!
ISTD Tap
Starting from Primary up to Grade 6, our Tap classes allow children to explore rhythms and patterns while learning a range of footwork and exercises to boost technique.
Street Dance
From age 4 upwards, Street Dance is a more relaxed class where children learn routines to their favourite chart hits. Classes include a warm up with focus on strengthening and stretching, technical exercises and a chance to develop an individual sense of performance and style. Classes are a great way to keep fit, make friends and have fun!
Contemporary
Starting from age 7 upwards, Contemporary uses technique similar to that of ballet, lyrical and jazz to focus on storytelling through movement and improvisation. Using many different styles of music, Contemporary celebrates versatility, improvisation and creativity to help develop confidence, musicality and unique styles of dancing.
Stretch and Strength
Stretch and Strength is a technical class focusing on increasing flexibility and building core strength to improve technique. The benefits of increased strength and flexibility are helpful in all genres of dance.
Drama
Our fun and friendly drama classes build confidence and promote teamwork, focusing on the skills and technique of speech and drama through games, improvisation and script work, with the option of working towards LAMDA exams.
Adult Tap
Starting from a beginners level, Adult Tap is an enjoyable class to learn a variety of footwork, incorporating rhythm and musicality as well as technique. Our classes are friendly and fun and allow everyone to learn a new skill!
ISTD Ballet
Starting from Primary up to Grade 6, teaching the core technique needed for all types of dance. Classes focus on classical technique, performance, strength and flexibility
ISTD Modern
Starting from Primary up to Grade 6, Modern is an energetic dance style that focuses on strength and flexibility whilst developing a sense of musicality and style. Modern class work offers a current form of dance encouraging freedom of movement and expression, based on warm up exercises, floor work, travelling steps and rhythmical exercises.
Musical Theatre
Our popular Musical Theatre classes explore dance, singing and drama skills along with learning different styles from various West End and Broadway musicals. Children build confidence through ensemble and solo singing, and acting through song and dance.
Acro
A beginners level class suitable for children age 8 and up, Acro focuses on limbering and strengthening to develop core strength, flexibility and control. Pupils will develop their gymnastic skills while improving their dance technique.
Pointe and Pre-Pointe
Dancers who have achieved the required strength and technique in ballet will be invited to join our pre-pointe or pointe classes to further develop knowledge, skill and technique needed to dance en pointe.
Group Singing
An engaging and enjoyable class which teaches vocal technique, improves range and introduces pupils to different styles and genres, while building confidence and learning a new skill! Pupils have the option of working towards ABRSM exams if they choose.
Adult Ballet
Starting from a beginners level, Adult Ballet allows you to build strength and improve muscle tone, flexibility and posture while exploring the different aspects of a ballet class, from barre to adage and allegro. The class is suitable for those who have never danced before or those who took ballet as a child and allows everyone to work at their own pace.
